This Cookie Policy explains how Refilis – Trade Charls LLC (“Refilis”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.refilis.com (the “Site”). It complies with:

  • EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR

  • United Kingdom PECR and UK GDPR

  • German TTDSG

  • Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection 2023 (revFADP)

  • Australian Privacy Act 1988 (APPs)

When you first visit the Site a banner lets you accept, reject, or customise non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored in our Consent Management Platform (“CMP”).

1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by your browser. They enable core site functions, security, analytics, and—when you agree—marketing features. Local storage, pixels and server logs are treated as cookies in this Policy.

2. COOKIES WE USE

We currently deploy three categories of cookies. An always-current list (name, provider, purpose, expiry) can be downloaded via the CMP banner.

No analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) or other ad pixels are currently used. Basic traffic metrics come from aggregated, non-cookie Shopify statistics.

3. HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES

  1. Click “Cookie Settings” in the banner or footer to update your consent at any time.

  2. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via settings.

  3. Opt-out of interest-based Meta ads at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break the Site. Preference and marketing cookies can be declined without affecting checkout.

4. THIRD-PARTY TRANSFERS

Meta Pixel data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. We rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses plus supplementary measures, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or the Swiss addendum, as appropriate.

5. DO NOT TRACK

The Site does not respond to the “Do Not Track” (DNT) header because no common industry standard exists. You can still control cookies as described above.

6. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change. If we add new cookie categories, the banner will appear again so you can set your preferences.
